Bryan MacDonald
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bryan MacDonald serves as BECU’s executive vice president and chief impact officer (CIO). Since joining BECU 14 years ago, he has held several senior risk roles within the organization, most recently senior vice president of Enterprise Risk Management.
As CIO of Washington’s largest credit union, Bryan is committed to driving a strategic approach to ensuring a diverse workforce reflects the communities BECU serves, supporting community partners in their endeavors, and communicating clearly and consistently across a variety of internal and external constituents.
Prior to BECU, Bryan held senior risk roles at various financial institutions, including Washington Mutual, JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup. Bryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.
Bryan has served as an executive sponsor and active member of BECU’s Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group since its inception in 2021 and is committed to helping individuals achieve their dreams and potential.
