CARLA COSTA-PERALES
Carla leads BECU's impact division, which includes the credit union's communications, social impact, government relations and organizational equity and belonging teams.
Prior to BECU, Carla served as vice president of Communications, Marketing, Consumer Experience and Community Health at Kaiser Permanente Washington. Previously, she held leadership roles at PATH, a global public health organization; was founder and president at Highway Twenty, a strategy and communications agency; and the International Rescue Committee, a humanitarian crisis response organization. She is also an affiliate instructor at the University of Washington and has served in governance and advisory roles with the World Economic Forum, Washington Health Alliance, Planned Parenthood and Social Venture Partners.
